Over a beautiful 4th of July weekend in the Chicago area, over 60 16u and 18u travel baseball teams from all over the midwest gathered at Northwestern University’s Rocky Miller Park to partake in the USSA’s “Northwestern Will To Live Invitational.” 1984 Northwestern University graduate and baseball team captain John Trautwein was on hand with family members, and life teammates to spread the Will To Live’s Life Teammates message to these fine young men as they prepared to take the field at Northwestern.
The Big Ten Network was on hand to document that message as part of their “LiveBig” program where one alum from each Big Ten University is recognized each year for giving back to the Community! We are pleased to announce that John Trautwein was selected to be Northwestern’s representative for 2011 for his and his family’s work with The Will To Live Foundation.
